We look forward to seeing you at UNCG on April 25, 2024!<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>General Information<\/h3>\n<p><u>What:<\/u>\u00a0State High School Math Contest Finals &#8211; Central Region<\/p>\n<p><u>When:<\/u> Thursday, April 25th, 2024<\/p>\n<p><u>Location:<\/u><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/math-sites.uncg.edu\/about-us\/for-visitors\/\">Petty Building<\/a>, Rooms 136, 007, 150 (<a href=\"http:\/\/library.uncg.edu\/map\/\">Campus Maps<\/a>)<br \/>\nUniversity of North Carolina at Greensboro<br \/>\n1000 Spring Garden Street<br \/>\nGreensboro, NC 27402<br \/>\n(See enclosed map of Greensboro.)<\/p>\n<p><u>Test Site Parking:<\/u> Please park in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/parking.uncg.edu\/access\/access.html?id=McIver%20Street%20Parking%20Deck\">Parking Deck on McIver Street<\/a>. See the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/parking.uncg.edu\/visitors\/\">parking services page<\/a> for prices and more information. (If you park in any of the campus parking lots or on the street you may get towed.)<\/p>\n<h3>Registration<\/h3>\n<p>If you are planning to attend the Regional State Finals at University of North Carolina at Greensboro, then please complete the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/Pages\/ResponsePage.aspx?id=9Vzhc7tdr0aoYnU5Fiadc6omgxIaBrdPh-AnZXexp4xUQzUxOUVaS0wyMDQ0NUc0UUNWN1kzVjFMTi4u\">Registration Form<\/a>. On Site Registration is possible.<\/p>\n<h3>Fees and Expenses<\/h3>\n<p>There is no registration fee. Scratch paper and pencils will be provided. Contestants should work independently.<\/p>\n<p><u>Time:<\/u>The examination time is 80 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><u>Scoring:<\/u>\u00a0Scores will be calculated using the formula: 4 x number correct + number blank. In case of a tie, specific, pre-determined test questions will be used to determine the winner. A perfect score is 160.<\/p>\n<p><u>Awards:<\/u>\u00a0All participants will be given Certificates of Participation. The top twenty winners in each subject area will be given Certificates of Merit.
